     With thirty years of legal experience, I bring a deep and unique perspective to my personal injury practice, which benefits my clients. I began my career in the insurance defense industry, working with law firms, as well as directly for an insurance company. Eventually, I became frustrated by the impassionate, indifferent, and impersonal system that trivialized the impacts of a “personal” injury. 

    This extensive background has given me an intimate familiarity with the methods insurance companies employ to defend, evaluate, and resolve cases.     When not helping my clients, I avidly pursue outdoor activities, including snowboarding, cycling, and hiking. I have been a volunteer with the Killington Ski area in Vermont since 1997. My diverse background includes stints as a commercial fisherman, a framing carpenter, and a reporter on the floor of the American Stock Exchange.
